the back drop

i have a thing for backs.  i like to watch people move from behind.  i think you can tell a lot about a person from this angle . . . how people carry themselves and move can reveal how they're feeling about themselves and the world.  backs are just plain sexy.  that's why i put a little something special on the back of every necklace i create.  it's pretty, it provides a weight so the necklace doesn't turn around, and it's a better reminder to stand up straight than your mother digging her finger into your back.

i worked on this piece before and after the dude and i took a weekend at harbin hot springs . . . watery.  sterling silver with green amethyst, moss aqua and pearl.  oh, the seeds are tourmaline.

i've kind of fallen in love with the green amethyst.  i paired it with kyanite here.  sterling silver.

next post will feature some earrings and pieces inspired by what should be a spectacular fall!
